Is my data uploaded anywhere?
No. Every calculator on this site runs entirely inside your browser using JavaScript on your own device. There is no backend server, no account system, and no analytics attached to your inputs — your marks, attendance numbers and date of birth never leave your phone or laptop.
Are the CGPA formulas accurate for my university?
Each university page shows a confidence badge. Formulas marked 'Official' match the university's published circular (for example, VTU's (CGPA − 0.75) × 10). 'Widely reported' formulas are commonly used but should be verified against your batch's circular. 'Generic estimate' entries use the CBSE-style ×9.5 default because no verified university-specific formula exists — we would rather show an honest estimate than a fabricated formula.
How many classes can I bunk and still keep 75%?
Enter your attended and held counts in the Attendance tool. It computes the largest number of consecutive classes you can miss while staying at or above your required percentage, plus how many attends-in-a-row recover you if you're already below, and whether recovery is mathematically possible before semester end.
Which exams does the age eligibility checker support?
SSC CGL, SSC CHSL, SSC MTS, UPSC Civil Services, IBPS PO, IBPS Clerk, SBI PO, RRB NTPC, NEET UG and JEE Main. Each exam uses its typical cutoff-date convention (e.g. 01-August of exam year for SSC/UPSC) and shows typical category relaxations. Always confirm against the current notification before relying on the result.
What is the difference between SGPA and CGPA?
SGPA (Semester Grade Point Average) measures one semester only — it is the credit-weighted mean of that semester's grade points. CGPA (Cumulative GPA) aggregates all completed semesters. Use our SGPA calculator per semester, then convert the resulting CGPA to a percentage when a form asks for it.
Why do placement forms ask for a percentage instead of CGPA?
Government job forms and many company eligibility screens use fixed percentage cutoffs (60%, 65%, 70%). Indian universities grade in CGPA, so every application needs a conversion — and using the wrong formula can understate (or overstate) your marks. That is exactly why our converter stores per-university formulas with their source notes.
